Sky and Jason slowly trailed after the newly angered Ty. The two weren't exactly sure why he was acting like he was, but that wasn't of importance at the moment. They had to find Taylor and Jordan, and also the girls. It hadn't hit them yet on why the girls were with them, but again: Not of importance. All of the three stayed quiet, excluding Ty and his almost depressed mumbles. After continuing on for a few minutes, they finally made it to the cave entrance. The three knew where it was from their very few mining expeditions with Ant and Sparklez. They slowly walked in, this time, Ty was behind Sky and Jason, still mumbling something inaudible.
"Oh, hey guys!" Jordan called, running towards the three, the girls following him.
"Uhhh...hi.." Sky uttered, then he realized something was wrong, "Where's Ant?"
Almost immediately after, Ant stumbled into view, leaning on a tree as his feet shuffled beneath him. "Hey.." He chuckled silently; his eyes looked dull. He slowly walked to the cave entrance, everyone's eyes on him.
"What happened? You don't seem like yourself.." Sky asked, knowing Jason and Ty were probably wondering too. Even if Ty was depressingly continuing on, Sky knew he would still be worried. Jason, on the other hand, was anxious, yet determined for what he had to say.
"Stuff. A lot of stuff happened." Ant sarcastically said, lightening the mood just a bit, "We'll explain in the cave."
The group walked through the cave, the dim light of torches lighting them. Sky turned around at the slightest noises, and had to always yell at poor Jason.
"Jason, I'm startled!"
"I am unbelievably startled.."
"You don't even know how startled I am right now..."
"Did I mention I was startled?"
Jason sighed every time, shaking his head. The others snickered, excluding Ty, who was still unusually quiet. Why was he so angry? He was usually calm...for his behavior now, well..
"It was somewhere near here...I remember seeing the area right here!" Ant pointed at the intersection of the stone tunnel, stopping the rest in their tracks, "--But...where is he..?"
"Who? You still didn't explain what kind of 'stuff' happened." Sky spoke up as Jordan and the girls looked down both paths. Ant turned around to Sky, Jason, and...wait...where's Ty? Ant looked at the 'three' surprised, and Sky and Jason stared back confused, "What?"
"W-where's Ty?" Ant stuttered, and the other two searched around themselves. They were stopped as a sudden cry echoed around them.
"Was that...Ty?" Sky shuddered at the thought of his lover in danger. Sky pulled out his butter sword and held it in front of his chest, "Where..where are you?!"
A flash of red blurred in front of the group, followed by a growl. Everyone's attention fell to the mess of white before them. Sky clenched his teeth and tightened his grip on the sword. Ty was hoisted over the 'thing's' shoulder, pounding his fists against it, "Let me go!" The thing turned around, stopping Ant, Sparklez, and the girls as soon as they laid eyes on it.
"That's--that's him..." Ant mumbled, his eyes turning a dull black, "That's the wolf man..." The wolf man howled, and shrunk down to a regular wolf, maintaining his white color. The group switched their sights from the shuddering Ant, to the moonlight-white wolf. It went from a sprawled position to scratching behind its ear with its leg. It panted as the group looked at it confused.
"Wasn't it just... a man?" Joyce asked suddenly, breaking the silence.
"Eeek!" She squealed in surprise as a deep voice answered her. Everyone stared at her, then the wolf.
"Why are you so scared?" The wolf's mouth seemed synced with the words.
"YOU CAN TALK?!" Ty asked, getting off the floor after being dropped by the shape-shifting wolf man.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" The wolf argued. You could feel the sarcasm of its words. "I'm a man, too..." Everyone stared at him, wide eyed; not accepting the fact of his animal speech ability.
"That would make you Kieran." Le spoke up, and Joyce slowly nodded.
"Yes, my dear princesses." Kieran assured them, "I have been waiting for your presence for a very long time." The wolf began to walk away, shocking everyone. "I need you to see my masters."
"Who are your 'masters'?" Joyce inquired, running to catch up with Kieran.
"The Celestians, who else?"
